Good people shouldn't have to choose between doing meaningful work and having time to breathe.
Whether you're running a sanctuary, building an ethical business, or advocating for change, you deserve systems that work for you instead of creating more work.
Here's What I've Learned:
For ten years, I've watched the same story play out over and over.
Talented people spending entire afternoons copying data between spreadsheets. Brilliant campaigns that flop because nobody had the time to set up a proper follow-up funnel. Business owners who know exactly what they need to say but can't figure out how to reach the right audience. Teams losing supporters simply because the can't nurture relationships.
Meanwhile, the all-about-the-profit world has it figured out. Sophisticated systems. Marketing that converts. Follow-up that never drops the ball.
That's backwards.
The people trying to make things better shouldn't be the ones struggling with broken systems and unclear strategy. But here's what nobody tells you: it's not about working harder or learning seventeen new platforms.
Usually, three well-built systems solve 80% of the problem. And often, the missing piece isn't more automation at all. It's clarity about who you're speaking to, what you're really offering, and how to communicate it in a way that lands.
We give you back your time and help you reach the right people with the right message.
Sometimes that's building automations that eliminate 20 hours of weekly busywork. Sometimes it's clarifying your positioning so your marketing finally connects. Often it's both, because great systems need great strategy behind them.
We're not just about flashy AI or complex tech stacks. We're about simple, strategic systems that create actual freedom. The kind where you can take a weekend off without everything falling apart. Where interested people don't slip through the cracks. Where your expertise reaches the people who need it most.
And here's the thing: we're building this to scale beyond individual clients.
When you work with us, you're helping us build an organization that can support the animal sanctuary, the grassroots climate group, the small team changing their corner of the world but operating on a shoestring budget. Not through charity, but through a sustainable model where paying clients fund our capacity to support those who can't afford a dedicated tech department.
Our blueprint library? It's there so everyone can start somewhere. See what's possible. Implement one system and feel the difference. Then maybe another. You don't need a big budget to begin getting your life back.
We're creating the infrastructure that ethical teams and conscious business owners should have had all along. Shared resources instead of everyone reinventing the wheel. Top talent who want meaningful work, not just paychecks. Solutions built once and deployed hundreds of times.
Maybe you're running a small business and tired of marketing advice that contradicts itself daily. You know your work matters, but you're drowning in the execution.
Maybe you're leading a nonprofit where everyone's wearing five hats and burning out. You see what's possible but lack the systems to get there.
Maybe you're building something new and meaningful, but the tech side feels like a black box. You need someone who can translate your vision into systems that actually work.
You don't need more complexity. You need clarity, strategy, and systems that serve your purpose instead of creating more work.
You need a guide who's been in the trenches, built these systems dozens of times, and knows the difference between impressive-sounding tech and what actually moves the needle.
Three years from now, we're supporting 100+ clients. We've delivered 10,000+ hours back to meaningful work. Our clients have collectively raised an additional million dollars because their systems finally work and their message finally lands.
But it's bigger than numbers.
We're building toward a world where no important idea fails because of technical limitations. Where dedicated people don't burn out on tasks that could be automated. Where the team trying to make things better has the same advantages as the team trying to extract maximum profit.
Technology that creates freedom. Strategy that brings clarity. Systems that actually serve people.
That's where we're going. And we'd love your help getting there.
I learned more about business from bartending at a dive bar than I ever did in my Business degree.
Not the lesson I expected when I went back to school for Pre-Med after college, but there it was. While juggling biochemistry classes and slinging drinks at both a dive bar and a tiki bar (don't worry though, I'm classy - I also worked at a martini bar), something unexpected happened.
I became the person venues called when they needed events managed, social media handled, and acts brought in from Los Angeles and San Francisco. My side hustle was becoming a real business. And I realized something: I could help more people get healthy by working as a marketer for health-oriented companies than I ever could in a white coat.
So I dropped Pre-Med and went all in.
Building Systems (Before I Knew That's What I Was Doing)
Starting in 2016 with what was then SWJ Agency, I worked with whoever needed help. A vegan parenting magazine. Wellness practitioners building digital businesses. A chiropractic office. Restaurants needing butts in seats. I built their systems, managed their presence, learned whatever I needed to make things work.
I didn't call it "automation" or "tech stack optimization" back then. I just saw problems and fixed them. But I was learning patterns. What worked. What didn't. How to build operations that actually served the people running them.
Then in 2020, I joined Generation Vegan as a part-time social media manager.
What started as part-time social became something bigger. I got promoted to Marketing Director and spent four years leading a global rebrand that took us from 100K to 2M followers across 26 channels in six languages.
We worked with A-list talent. Planned documentary premieres. Launched campaigns that generated 47M impressions. Managed meal distribution across 108 cities during the pandemic. I built automation systems handling 160K monthly tasks, improved conversion rates from 1% to 20%, cut software costs in half while expanding capabilities.
This is where I really became a swiss army knife - learning entire software platforms over the weekend because the team needed them running by Monday morning.
But here's the part nobody talks about: I also experienced the burnout that comes with work you care too much about. The passion that drives you until it consumes you. The sense that rest feels like abandoning the mission. The grinding reality of doing world-changing work with systems held together by duct tape and sheer willpower.
That experience is exactly why KindByte exists.
The Transition I Didn't Know I Needed
After Generation Vegan, I went back into the private sector. Started working with businesses again, now based in Chicago by way of California and Mexico.
And I was reminded of something I'd completely forgotten while I was all-in on passion: revenue-generating sales funnels actually matter. Not just for profit, but for sustainability. For follower buy-in. For being able to keep doing the work without burning out.
The "bro marketers" were exhausting to listen to, but they weren't wrong about scalable systems. I knew this stuff and it wasn't being talked about enough in my non-profit world. I'd built these systems dozens of times. I just forgot about it after going full passion and forgetting about profit.
That's when it clicked. The organizations doing the most important work needed both. The heart-centered mission AND the revenue-generating systems. The authentic message AND the sales funnel that actually converts. The passion AND the profit model that makes it sustainable.
They needed someone who could translate between those two worlds. Who understood the changemaker mindset but also knew how to build systems that generate real revenue and create actual freedom.
Why This Actually Matters to You
I've built marketing operations, automation systems, event logistics, CRM integrations, email sequences, social strategies, and full tech stacks for dozens of organizations. With healthy budgets and shoestring budgets. Always with real constraints and real people who needed it to work by Monday.
Most consultants stay in their lane. They're the email person or the automation person or the strategy person.
I'm the person who sees how all of it connects because I've built all of it. Multiple times. I know how your positioning affects your messaging, how your messaging affects your email strategy, how your email strategy affects your CRM, how your CRM affects your automation, and how your automation affects your conversion rates.
More importantly, I can translate between bro marketer language and heart-centered changemaker language. I can help you build systems that generate revenue without feeling gross. Show you how to create sales funnels that serve your mission instead of undermining it.
I've spent the last decade becoming the guide I wish I'd had. The person who could see the whole system, explain it clearly, build it properly, and do it in a way that doesn't require sacrificing your sanity.
Now I'm building KindByte into the team that gives everyone access to this kind of support. Whether you're starting with a blueprint to automate one painful task or bringing us in to rebuild your entire operation, you're working with someone who's done this work, led these teams, experienced the burnout, and figured out how to build it better.
Not in theory. In the real world, with real constraints, for real people trying to make things better.
